Shaky US trade deal threatens Lesotho jobs
About 50 African leaders are in Washington for a three-day summit to boost trade. The US Congress is reviewing the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act, which expires next year. AGOA is a deal which allows several African countries to export specific products to the US duty free. If not renewed it could result in massive job loses in countries like Lesotho.
