Key Responsibilities
- Review aged debtor analysis reports and take prompt action on all overdue accounts.
- Identify accounts requiring intervention by executive management or legal processes.
- Identify accounts liable for disconnection and report them to the Credit Control Manager.
- Review disconnected customer reports to ensure appropriate action has been taken on overdue accounts.
- Provide monthly cash collection status reports per category and centre.
- Provide debt analysis reports per category and centre.
- Report on billed water and sewerage amounts.
- Report on unaccounted-for water per centre.
- Prepare disconnection and reconnection reports for LEWA.
- Prepare government debt reports.
- Implement company credit policies through customer education and enforcement of agreed credit terms.
- Attend to customer queries timeously.
- Ensure implementation of established internal controls.
- Prepare monthly collection programmes and monitor implementation.
- Analyse actual collections against planned targets and prepare variance reports.
- Prepare monthly control account reconciliations.
- Clear suspended receipts and take appropriate action on uncleared receipts.

- Three (3) years’ relevant experience in a supervisory role.
