ICT Application Systems Manager

Job Purpose
To provide technical guidance and expertise in all matters of Data/Information Management Services in the institution.

Key Responsibilities
- Review existing systems applications to meet business requirements.
- Facilitate implementation of custom applications/eServices.
- Design and administer databases.
- Test and modify systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Formulate and review information management standards and policies.
- Provide technical advice and support in information management services.
- Facilitate development of strategic interventions necessary for information management services.
- Establish mechanisms to promote collaboration between various stakeholders.
- Supervise and appraise staff.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science from a recognised institution.
- Certification in Database Administration or any programming language or Microsoft Administration or Linux.
- Minimum of 4 years’ working experience , of which 2 years must have been served at ICT Applications Systems Administrator level in Lesotho Government or equivalent level in a reputable organisation.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science from a recognised institution.
- Certification in Microsoft Administration or Linux.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience , of which 2 years must have been served at ICT Applications Systems Administrator level in Lesotho Government or equivalent level in a reputable organisation.
