The incumbents will be responsible to the respective Service Centre Supervisors. Applicants may be expected to work in any LEC depots throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive payments or proof of payments from customers for all customer-service-related services.
- Verify, record and check payments from bank statements.
- Issue receipts and prepaid electricity tokens to customers.
- Ensure proper safekeeping of received proof of payments.
- Create accounts in the SAP system.
- Record all received proof of payments in the electronic funds transfer spreadsheet.
- Compile the daily balancing sheet accurately.
- Balance and reconcile transactions against daily end-of-shift reports generated from both Suprima and SAP.
- Reconcile EFT bank deposits with end-of-shift reports.
- Create charges for sundry payments.
- Process and issue tamper resets, key changes and clear credits.
- Issue power limits, tamper resets, free units, etc.
- Assist customers with prepaid electricity-related queries and transactions.
- Capture information from meter advice forms into the relevant system.
- Exchange faulty meters in the system and update records.
- Process meter-related services, including tamper resets, key changes and credit clearances.
- Safeguard and issue petty cash in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve customer complaints in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- BComm Accounting/GA or any other related qualification.
- Two years’ experience in a cash-handling environment.
- Highly empathetic communicator.
- Highly numerate with good reporting skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
