To provide technical support on institution systems and their services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine support to Ministry staff on LAN, WAN and other ICT issues.
- Monitor the performance of desktop software installations and upgrades.
- Provide support in monitoring the use of internal data and voice communication facilities, including equipment and software.
- Maintain systems integrity and provide user guidance.
- Provide support on development and implementation of applications.
- Upgrade systems and related operating system issues.
- Carry out start-up and shutdown procedures.
- Administer user accounts, permissions and access rights.
- Provide desk and on-call support to end-users.
- Provide advice on access control for network users to support confidentiality and integrity of network resources.
- Handle service requests and take part in recovery and restoration of systems after a security incident.
- Develop, deploy and support business processes.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science.
- OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science and a minimum of 2 years’ working experience at the level of Assistant System Support Officer.
