The Finance Officer (Billing and Collections) is responsible for the accurate billing, invoicing, collection, and reconciliation of CAS’s Corporate Clients and Student-related revenues, with particular emphasis on managing accounts for NMDS-sponsored and Self-sponsored students. Requirements

  • A recognised professional qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent academic qualification, plus a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience. A demonstrable proficiency in Pastel and CaseWare, which are essential requirements for the position.
  • Or
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field plus a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience. A demonstrable proficiency in Pastel and CaseWare.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles relating to revenue recognition and receivables.
  • Knowledge of billing, invoicing, and collection processes.
  • Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office suite knowledge, and proficiency with accounting software implementation (Pastel)
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost accounting principles
  • Able to analyse financial records and interpret them for other departments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
