Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, P&L reports, balance sheet reviews, and management reports.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income audit, purchasing, cash flow, and month-end processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll, tax returns, statutory submissions, and financial records.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, legislation, audit requirements, and SOPs.
- Review and authorize POs, expenses, refunds, allowances, and banking transactions within approved limits.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure all hotel permits and licenses remain current.
- Partner effectively with operational and support departments to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial management, or auditing, supported by a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or Auditing, with demonstrated experience in hotel or hospitality finance operations.
- The successful candidate must have strong hotel finance experience, excellent leadership and analytical skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of financial controls, taxation, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
